My thoughts on Customer Ratings & Reviews…
Over the last 36 years, Issy & I have been involved in thousands of installations of water softeners, water filtration systems & “tankless” water heaters. Maine is our home and the call to stay home and work in Maine has gotten stronger. But we need your support for our business to survive & thrive in Maine. We are very strong in this industry with lots of experience & education. We can offer you an extraordinary skill set to solve most any water quality problem for Mainers. Most of our past work has been in Maine & Colorado. The water in Colorado has many similarities to the water in Maine. We have also done jobs in Florida, Nebraska, Wyoming, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and several other states. Over the years, we have kept and recorded hundreds of customer reviews of our work. As you will see, they are overwhelmingly supportive. There have been no dissenting reviews that I can recall. That is not to say we have never made a mistake, but rather that we always make good on our word that the customer get exactly what we promised (or even more). Please take a moment to read through these letters & reviews.

Water Filtration in Maine !
Water Softeners, Water Purifiers, Water Filters, Water Treatment… Sounds simple, right ? Sometimes “Yes”… Sometimes “No”. A simple cartridge filter to remove sand or sediment is something you may be able to do yourself… maybe not. A run-of-the-mill water softener is a job very few folks can do correctly… but maybe. Effective solutions to “Problem Water” absolutely requires education & experience. So many people take clean water for granted. But, those of us with Iron in the water, Smelly water, Bacterial contamination, or even Arsenic or Radioactive contaminants need professional help from people that have that education & experience.
Water Softeners & Certified Professionals
So… A lot of folks have the skills to connect pipes together. On the surface, that’s all it takes to install a water softener… or so it seems. But remember, if you’re installing a water softener, you’re trying to solve a problem. Sometimes we only create more problems. Even if you are a skilled plumber, you may not know the intricacies of a proper, functional and effective water softener installation. Some Examples:
- A “Cross-Connect” – your water softener is attached to your fresh water… Right ? Did you know it is also connected to your sewer or septic system ? Does that strike you as a potential danger of contamination ? YES ! Without proper connection to the drain, this is a huge potential problem for your family’s health. Most people (even companies in the water business) do not know the proper way to connect a water softener to your drain. Don’t take chances ! Hire a Certified Installer to install your water softener.
- “Continuation of Ground” – Check this out… Most homes use the cold water pipes as the common grounding system for all the electrical wiring in the house. If your non-certified installer puts in a plastic filter housing or water softener valve, that interrupts the grounding of your home’s electrical system. A Certified Professional knows the importance of proper technique to assure “Continue of Ground” keeping your home electrically safe.
